As I mentioned in my previous post, my niece, Paige got married last month, and Amy was a bridesmaid for her wedding. About a week or so before the wedding Amy decided that she had "absolutely nothing to wear" to the rehearsal dinner. Well, actually, I'm pretty sure she had plenty of things she could wear, just nothing she really wanted to wear. Most of her cute little dresses were not "springy" enough for a May wedding -- according to her -- and there was absolutely nothing in the stores that she liked well enough to spend the money on. Even if she was able to find something, it would still mean alterations by Mom (me) for her cute, vertically challenged little self which would include, at the very least, shortening straps, taking in the waist (hers is tiny) and definitely hemming - 4-6 inches (did I mention she is vertically challenged???--I wasn't sure if I mentioned that...).
